Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, seeks a Site Superintendent to lead on-site field operations for client projects nationwide, starting in northeast Ohio. You will manage safety, quality control, schedules, and communications with clients and subcontractors while supporting project management.

Qualified candidates bring strong construction knowledge, ability to interpret drawings, and experience overseeing subcontractors. 100% travel is required across sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with nine years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree with six years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with three years of relevant experience in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Oversees subcontractors and construction to ensure safety, quality, and drawings intent.
• Maintains project schedule; escalates delays to Project Construction Manager.
• Writes Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for review with site lead or Project Construction Manager.
• Takes progress photographs and labels each photograph.
• Prepares Monthly Progress Reports.
• Ensures contractors use the latest design drawing revision for construction.
• May provide assistance to Project Construction Manager.
• May be responsible for key trade/subcontractor in support of the project.
• Prepares contract extras and progress payments with Project Manager.
• Provides clear correspondence with project management and clients on issues.
