Job summary

Sundt is hiring for a 100% employee-owned construction supervisor to manage day-to-day field activities, supervise craft workers and subcontractors, and coordinate with project leaders. The role emphasizes safety, scheduling, quality control, and cost management across multiple crews.

The position requires strong communication, 2+ years of supervisory experience in construction, and the ability to drive project plans, mitigate risks, and maintain project documentation in Sundt’s field operations.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Minimum of two years supervisory experience in construction.
• Understanding scheduling and cost control; ability to supervise employees and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Review shop drawings and RFIs; supervise quality control and safety and coordinate subcontractors.
• Select equipment, construction methods, and sequencing of operations.
• Lead subcontractor meetings and support LEAN planning implementations.
• Manage daily risk and ensure timely mitigation with project leaders.
• Enforce safety plans and adherence to PMP; monitor project costs and delivery.
