Job summary

Sundt Construction is seeking a field-based supervisor to manage day-to-day construction activities, supervise craft crews and subcontractors, and coordinate field work with the project schedule.

You will be responsible for safety, quality control, cost control, and timely project execution across multiple crews. The role requires strong communication, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage craft teams and subcontractors on self-perform projects.

Qualifications

• Two years of supervisory experience in construction required.
• Understanding of scheduling and cost control essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists in review of shop drawings and RFI; coordinates quality control and safety with subcontractors.
• Chooses equipment, construction methods, and sequencing of operations.
• Conducts subcontractor meetings and implements LEAN planning.
• Performs daily risk analysis with project leaders for timely mitigation.
• Enforces safety plans and ensures compliance with PMP and project policies.
• Oversees manpower, equipment, material and subcontract activities per the schedule.
