Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data center or commercial IT infrastructure installation.
• 2+ years in a leadership, supervisory, or foreman role.
• Proficient in structured cabling, fiber optics, and hardware installation, especially in data center environments.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Familiar with TIA/EIA standards, NEC, and OSHA requirements.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to work at various job sites regionally.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise crews in IT infrastructure installations in data centers and commercial environments.
• Interpret project blueprints, floor plans, and technical documentation for data center and commercial projects.
• Ensure all work meets ServicePoint IT's quality, technical, and safety standards.
• Organize job site logistics, tool allocation, and material staging for data center deployments.
• Maintain accurate daily logs, progress updates, and team timekeeping.
• Liaise with superintendents, project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients.
• Perform field-level quality assurance and troubleshoot cabling and hardware installations.
• Enforce OSHA and company safety standards on data center sites.
• Coach, train, and evaluate junior team members on data center best practices and structured cabling techniques.
