Job summary

Next Level Technician seeks a Data Center Superintendent in Charlotte, NC to oversee cabling, fiber optic, and low-voltage projects. You will lead field operations, coordinate with general and electrical contractors, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery on site.

The ideal candidate has data center construction supervision experience and strong communication skills to manage multiple activities with stakeholders and teams.

Qualifications

• Experience leading data center construction projects or equivalent.
• Ability to coordinate with general contractors, electrical contractors, owner representatives and stakeholders.
• Strong safety and quality standards knowledge for data centers.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with new technology stacks and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day field operations for data center, fiber optic, and low-voltage projects.
• Coordinate with contractors, project managers, and owners to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Manage site schedules, manpower planning, and material coordination.
• Ensure work meets project specs, safety rules, and quality standards.
• Lead field technicians, foremen, and subcontractors on-site.
• Conduct site walkthroughs, progress and safety meetings.
• Resolve project challenges to minimize delays and disruptions.
• Monitor milestones and report status to operations and leadership teams.
• Maintain daily reports, schedules, and field records.
• Promote safety, accountability, and operational excellence on jobsites.
