Job summary

Bowman Consulting is seeking a Survey SUE Technician II to join our team and perform subsurface utility engineering tasks in the Carolinas. This role involves outdoor fieldwork with electromagnetic equipment and GPR, data collection, and documentation.

Applicants should have 3+ years of SUE experience, basic surveying knowledge, and be willing to travel including overnight assignments. Valid driver’s license and ability to pass drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred; commensurate relevant experience considered.
• 3+ years as SUE Technician I or related experience.
• Basic knowledge of Land Surveying.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities and record field data.
• Operate vacuum truck and related equipment.
• Perform SUE field activities with supervision and train junior staff.
• Prepare daily paperwork and ensure data accuracy.
