Job summary

Bowman is seeking a Survey SUE Technician II to join our team in North and South Carolina offices, including Raleigh, Charlotte, Charleston, and Columbia. The role involves outdoor utility locate work using electromagnetic equipment and ground penetrating radar, plus vacuum truck operation and field documentation.

Qualified candidates have 3+ years as a SUE Technician I or related experience, a high school diploma or GED, travel readiness, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Three or more (3+) years as SUE Technician I or related experience.
• Basic knowledge of Land Surveying.
• Ability/willingness to travel for work assignments, including occasional overnight assignments.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities through nondestructive methods.
• Operate Data Collectors and collect field measurements.
• Record and document the underground utility field data accurately.
• Train to operate and maintain company equipment and vehicles.
• Train to meet company safety standards.
