Job summary

Bowman Consulting Group, Ltd. in Tampa, FL, is seeking a Survey SUE Technician II to join our field team. You will work outdoors using electromagnetic equipment and ground penetrating radar to locate subsurface utilities and perform related surveying tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred. Commensurate relevant experience considered.
• Three or more (3+) years as SUE Technician I or related experience.
• Basic knowledge of Land Surveying.
• Ability/willingness to travel for work assignments, including occasional overnight assignments.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and random thereafter.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities through nondestructive methods.
• Operate Data Collectors and collect field measurements.
• Record and document the underground utility field data accurately.
• Train to operate and maintain company equipment and vehicles.
• Train to meet company safety standards.
