Job summary

Premier Power Maintenance is seeking a Construction Services Technician to execute mechanical and electrical tasks on substations used in power transmission, distribution, and generation. You will assemble, troubleshoot, repair, and clean components while complying with electrical codes and company policies.

The role requires reading schematics, installing cable systems, breakers, and relay panels, and participating in safety trainings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical substation construction.
• Experience in Substation or Lineman Apprenticeship is a plus but not required.
• Relocation within 60 miles of the hiring regional office may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist mechanical and electrical tasks on substation equipment at customer facilities.
• Read manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams to install electrical apparatus.
• Perform substation construction tasks such as cable installation, breaker installation, and relay panel work.
• Participate in preventative maintenance outages and safety meetings; travel for overnight projects.
