Job summary

Premier Power Maintenance, LLC is seeking an entry-level electrical technician to perform on-site electrical apparatus work at customer facilities, including testing, preventative maintenance, commissioning, upgrades and repairs.

You will assist in substation testing and maintenance, read schematics, troubleshoot, and travel up to 60 miles from regional office, with overtime, possible overnight trips, and background/drug tests.

Qualifications

Requires a high school diploma or GED; degrees preferred but not required.
Experience with electrical substation testing, construction, maintenance, troubleshooting, assembly, and commissioning is preferred.
Zero to three years of relevant experience; entry-level role.
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

Assist in mechanical and electrical tasks on equipment used in power transmission, distribution, and generation at customer facilities.
Read manuals, schematics, and diagrams to troubleshoot equipment problems.
Troubleshoot, repair, replace, and clean substation components.
Participate in installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment.
Participates in safety meetings and training.
Duties may include other related tasks.
