Job summary

Premier Power Maintenance, LLC seeks a hands-on field technician to support electrical substation construction, installation, maintenance, and repair across regional locations. You will work with experienced technicians, operate specialized tools, and contribute to safety-focused projects in outdoor environments.

The role involves reading blueprints and schematics, installing cables and grounding, and providing professional service to customers while traveling to project sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum three years of electrical substation construction experience preferred.
• Completion of a Substation or Lineman Apprenticeship Program is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documents.
• Willingness to obtain company-sponsored certifications and training including TWIC, OSHA, MSHA, NFPA 70E, and CPR.

Responsibilities

• Assist with construction, installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical substation equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer specifications.
• Participate in preventative maintenance outages and field service projects.
• Follow OSHA, NFPA 70E, DOT, and company safety standards; complete required documentation.
