Wild Goose Chase, Inc. seeks a hands-on Structural Services Technician to install bird deterrence and exclusion solutions, service sites, and explain our science-based methods to customers. Based in the Midwest, the role requires extensive travel (up to 60%), lifting up to 50 pounds, and comfort with outdoor work and wildlife.

Qualifications

• Must be based in the Midwest with willingness to travel across the U.S.
• Valid state driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Drug & substance free.
• Comfort working with wildlife (birds) outdoors in various weather.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and carry/load ladders up to 28 ft.
• Pass a medical evaluation and respirator fit test.
• Experience with handheld/power tools and PPE.
• Professional appearance and must wear company uniform.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office; willingness to learn other PM software.

Responsibilities

• Install bird deterrence and exclusion solutions at customer sites.
• Clean bird fecal matter and maintain work areas.
• Trapping birds as required by projects.
• Explain and promote the company’s science-based solutions to customers.
• Spend at least half time onsite, with regular team check-ins (virtual or in-person).
• Travel up to 60% of the time, including potential overnight stays.
• Operate safely with PPE and fall protection; follow safety protocols.
