Job summary

Wild Goose Chase Inc. in Brookfield, WI hires a Structural Bird Control Technician/Canine Handler to work with a traveling field team.

The role combines dog-assisted bird deterrence with hands-on installation and maintenance of bird-control devices. You will drive a company vehicle, work outdoors in all weather, lift heavy loads, manage equipment, and coordinate with supervisors on seasonal routes across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid state driver’s license and a clean MVR.
• Drug and substance free; able to drive up to 100 miles per day.
• Willing to travel by car and air across the U.S. for servicing customers.
• Able to lift 50–100 pounds and work in all kinds of weather.
• Comfortable reading maps and following directions; strong safety awareness.
• Able to operate and load/unload ladders and PPE; prioritize safety.

Responsibilities

• Direct dogs to disperse Canada geese and manage canine handler tasks.
• Prepare surfaces for installation of bird control devices and install equipment.
• Complete job setups and takedowns; travel between accounts as needed.
• Work with supervisors on route planning and seasonal schedules.
• Maintain safety, wear PPE, and operate tools in outdoor settings.
