Wild Goose Chase, Inc. in Indianapolis is seeking a Field Services Technician to join our bird management team.

You will direct a working dog to disperse Canada geese, clean nesting material, and operate handheld lasers or remote boats to deter birds on customer properties. This role can be part time or full time, requires a valid driver's license, clean driving record, ability to read maps, and a professional appearance in company uniform.

Qualifications

• Valid state driver's license required.
• Clean driving record (MVR) required.
• Drug- and substance-free.
• Ability to read a map and know directions.
• Professional appearance; wear company uniform.
• Weekend availability.
• Experience handling dogs; English commands preferred.
• Canine housing subsidy provided; company vehicle may be kept at home.
• Commitment to safety and PPE.

Responsibilities

• Drive up to 100+ miles on a route.
• Start and end times may be staggered based on weather and servicing conditions.
• May work before sunrise or after sunset.
• Service routes in all weather conditions.
• Bend, stoop or kneel regularly during tasks.
• Handle dogs multiple times daily across accounts.
• Provide canine housing subsidy in addition to hourly rate.
• May work on elevated roofs for cleanup or nest removal.
