Job summary

Hoffman Hydronics is seeking a skilled Start-up & Pump Build Technician to perform startup, commissioning, warranty service, troubleshooting and field-service work on commercial hydronic equipment. The role combines field assignments with in-house pump build duties at the Suwanee shop, roughly one to two days per week.

You will work with boilers, water heaters, pumps, VFDs, and related controls, review installation manuals, ensure safe operation, train owner-operators, and document readings

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years hands-on field-service experience with commercial hydronic systems.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, control schematics, and OEM manuals.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform factory-authorized startup, commissioning, warranty service, and field troubleshooting for hydronic equipment.
• Support Suwanee pump shop with build, test, and documentation of pumps and pump packages.
• Train owner-operators on normal operation and alarm handling; provide thorough reports.
