Job summary

Hoffman Hydronics is expanding its Suwanee operation and seeking a skilled Start-up & Pump Build Technician. You will perform factory-authorized startup, warranty service, and troubleshooting for boilers, water heaters, pumps, and booster systems in commercial settings.

You will also support the Suwanee pump shop one to two days weekly, building and testing pumps and documenting results. Travel locally is required, with occasional overnight stays as needed.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of hands-on field-service experience with commercial hydronic systems.
• Experience startup, service, repair, or warranty support for boilers, water heaters, pumps, and related equipment.
• Ability to read and use wiring diagrams, control schematics, and OEM manuals.
• Comfort with diagnostic testing, safety protocols, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform factory-authorized startup, commissioning, warranty service, and troubleshooting for hydronic equipment.
• Support Suwanee pump shop with pump build, testing, and repair documentation.
• Travel locally to customer sites and work with contractors and facility teams.
• Document service readings, deficiencies, and corrective actions.
