Job summary

Hoffman Hydronics in Georgia is seeking a Start-up & Pump Build Technician. You will perform factory-authorized startup, commissioning, warranty service, and field troubleshooting for commercial hydronic equipment including boilers, water heaters, pumps, and boosters.

You will also support the Suwanee pump shop 1–2 days per week, building and testing pumps, documenting results, and coordinating parts. Travel locally to customer sites and occasional overnights are required.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in field-service with commercial hydronic systems.
• Experience with boiler, water heater, pumps, and VFDs.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and OEM manuals.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally.
• Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform startup, commissioning, warranty service, and troubleshooting for hydronic equipment.
• Support Suwanee pump shop 1–2 days per week with build/test activities.
• Inspect, repair, and test pumps, motors, and rotating equipment.
• Document service reports and maintain accurate records.
• Travel locally to customer sites; some overnight travel may be required.
• Follow safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
