Hoffman Hydronics seeks a skilled Start-up & Pump Build Technician to perform startup, commissioning, warranty service, troubleshooting, and customer training for commercial hydronic equipment. The role includes pump-building support at the Suwanee shop, and regular travel to customer sites across the region.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with boilers, water heaters, pumps, VFDs, and related controls, plus the ability to read wiring diagrams and startup checklists and ensure

Formación

• 3–5+ years hands-on experience with commercial hydronic systems, boilers, water heaters, pumps, motors, VFDs.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, control schematics, piping diagrams, OEM manuals, and startup checklists.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills under time pressure.

Responsabilidades

• Perform factory-authorized startup, commissioning, warranty service, troubleshooting and owner training for hydronic equipment.
• Start up and support boilers, water heaters, pumps, pump packages, booster systems, motors, VFDs and related controls.
• Review installation manuals, wiring diagrams, and startup checklists before starting equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydronic, and control-related issues using OEM manuals and measurements.
• Prepare complete service, warranty, and startup reports with readings and results.
• Travel locally to customer sites; support Suwanee pump shop 1–2 days per week.
