Job summary

The NYS Office for People With Developmental Disabilities is seeking Standards Compliance Analysts to conduct field surveys across Western and Central NY. The role requires visiting day and residential programs, interpreting regulations for providers, and participating in exit conferences and corrective action reviews.

Positions involve extensive travel, sometimes weekends, and mandatory trainings in Albany and other locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in listed fields as required for trainee levels.
• One year of experience in development, implementation, oversight, monitoring, and revision of individual program plans for trainee 2.
• Two years of experience in development, implementation, oversight, monitoring, and revision of IEPs or similar plans for full analyst level.

Responsibilities

• Visit and review all day and residential programs certified by OPWDD and services under the Home and Community Based Services Waiver.
• Interpret regulations to providers and participate in exit conferences.
• Review providers' plans of corrective action and assist with survey and certification activities.
• Extensive field work, travel, and on-site observation, including some weekend visits and training.
