Approved Fire Protection & Security is seeking an experienced Field Sprinkler Project Specialist to lead on-site installation and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems. You will coordinate daily field activities with the Project Manager, ensuring work aligns with plans, codes, and safety standards.

This hands-on role requires strong technical, communication, and organizational skills, with travel across New Jersey and after-hours emergency service availability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in Water-Based Systems Layout for commercial/industrial sprinkler projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive communication with other departments.
• Valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record.
• Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screen.
• Willingness to travel throughout New Jersey as required.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Competent with work-related power tools.

Responsibilities

• On-site technician for Fire Sprinkler projects.
• Coordinate with Project Managers on each jobsite.
• Inspect, test, and service sprinkler systems per codes and safety standards.
• Hands-on experience with field tools and equipment used in sprinkler installation and maintenance.
• Process all service paperwork timely and accurately.
• Update and maintain information in Profit Zoom.
• Handle on-call emergency services and regular hour emergencies.
