Job summary

Approved Fire Protection & Security in New Jersey is seeking an experienced Sprinkler Project Manager with a strong background in fire sprinkler installations, estimating, and system design. This role will prepare installation proposals, review drawings and specs, and coordinate sprinkler layouts through project completion.

You will work with project managers, field technicians, and customers, ensuring NFPA compliance and accurate budgeting.

Qualifications

• Experience with sprinkler installation estimating and project design.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of NFPA standards and sprinkler system layouts.
• Experience with AutoCAD or sprinkler design software.
• Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
• Willingness to travel throughout NJ.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Competent with all work-related power tools.
• English language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed fire sprinkler installation estimates and proposals.
• Review blueprints, project specifications, and construction documents.
• Perform material takeoffs and labor calculations for installation projects.
• Assist with sprinkler system design coordination and layout planning.
• Coordinate installation schedules, materials, and subcontractors.
• Interpret NFPA codes and AHJ requirements related to sprinkler installations.
• Support permitting and project documentation processes.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, field technicians, contractors, and customers throughout project execution.
• Track project budgets, labor, and material usage.
• Maintain accurate project documentation within Profit Zoom.
