Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Field Specialist IV - FPT to coordinate on-site field operations, lead testing of valves and pressure testing activities, and ensure safety and quality at customer locations.

The role requires hands-on experience with pressure relief and control valves, strong technical leadership, and the ability to mentor field personnel while maintaining compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5+ years field service experience in valve services or related oil & gas operations.
• Hands-on with PRVs, Safety Valves and Control Valves.
• Strong ability to read drawings, P&IDs and testing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee field operations at customer sites.
• Plan jobs, develop execution strategies and ensure resources are available.
• Lead pressure testing, valve testing, inspection, troubleshooting and commissioning.
• Direct and supervise service operators and field crews.
• Manage customer communications before, during and after job execution.
• Prepare technical reports and job documentation.
