Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Safety Valve Technician to assemble, repair, test, and validate PRVs, safety valves, and control valves. You will collaborate with operations, quality, engineering, and service teams to ensure products meet customer requirements and industry standards.

You will apply mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot, calibrate, and test complex valve assemblies, supporting API standards and quality initiatives in a workshop environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent technical education.
• Min 5 years in valve assembly, repair, testing, or related mechanical service.
• Hands-on with PRVs, Safety Relief, and Control Valves.

Responsibilities

• Assemble complex valve components per drawings and BOMs.
• Perform functional, pressure, and performance testing on PRVs, safety, and control valves.
• Read blueprints and specifications; troubleshoot issues during assembly and testing.
• Maintain testing equipment per standards and follow safe shop practices.
