Job summary

Luminys Systems Corporation is seeking a Field Solutions Engineer to bridge our products, dealer network, and engineering teams. You will support sales, diagnose complex field issues, and provide structured technical feedback, with a focus on solar-powered and off-grid surveillance deployments.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in Field Application Engineering, Technical Support, or Technical Product Management.
• Strong background in off-grid solar power systems with CCTV/surveillance or IoT integrations.
• Hands-on with DC power systems, MPPT controllers, and network configuration.
• Ability to analyze complex data and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel to customer and dealer sites as needed.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple field cases simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site dealer and customer visits to diagnose complex technical issues and troubleshoot installations.
• Investigate root causes of product/system failures and distinguish installation errors from environment or defects.
• Create detailed technical reports and feedback loops for engineering and product teams.
• Develop and deliver technical training programs for dealers on installation and usage.
• Draft and maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, and best-practice manuals.
• Test, validate, and provide feedback on new product prototypes in real-world environments.
• Support sales with advanced technical demonstrations and solution design.
