Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a technically skilled professional to support revenue growth across assigned accounts by developing and presenting optimized technical solutions.

You will map customer requirements, lead pre-sales architecture, and coordinate cross-departmental efforts to ensure satisfaction and timely issue resolution.

The role requires hands-on data center experience, strong leadership, and the ability to troubleshoot complex hardware/software interactions, with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; computer engineering, electrical engineering, or computer science preferred.
• 2+ years of related experience with Compute/Storage Server, Data Center, or IT Infrastructure.
• Hands-on Data Center and Liquid Cooling experience is a definite plus.
• Excellent communication skills and business sense required.
• Strong background and experience with x86-based PC or server architecture.
• Familiarity with Firmware, Linux, Windows, virtualization, storage, GPUs, AI/ML, Liquid Cooling, and data center operations is a plus.
• Strong technical communication and leadership skills to drive investigations with engineers of multiple disciplines.
• Ability to work effectively and independently in high-pressure environments.
• Some travel required, up to 25%

Responsibilities

• Support revenue growth at all assigned accounts
• Develop solution architecture and presentations to expand Fortune 1000 account penetration and loyalty
• Map end-user customer business and partner requirements and provide optimized technical solutions
• Provide technical leadership in pre-sales and oversee solution implementation
• Engage with customers and build and maintain trust
• Troubleshoot system architecture and hardware/software interaction issues
• Manage and lead teams during field problem investigations and resolution
• Develop and review system solutions, technical bid responses, and presentations
• Work cross-departmentally to ensure customer satisfaction and timely issue resolution
• Build and demonstrate proof-of-concept solutions
• Present corporate brand, product messaging, and solutions to customers
• Visit on-site facilities and operations for solution integration and issue resolution
