Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy is seeking a full-time Site Solar Technician II. This role involves overnight travel and working safely with electrical and mechanical components on solar farms across the US.

You will diagnose, repair, and maintain solar systems, while providing excellent customer service and professional conduct on-site or in the office. The position requires hands-on operation of equipment, strong documentation, and the ability to travel frequently.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in renewable energy or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Must have valid driver's license and pass background check.
• Ability to travel frequently.
• Knowledge of solar and energy storage products.
• Safety-focused with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, maintain, and oversee issues at solar farms across the US.
• Diagnose a wide range of solar service issues.
• Provide outstanding customer experience; maintain professional demeanor.
• Travel using own vehicle or company vehicle.
• Participate in staff meetings and assist with company initiatives.
• Provide daily reports and effectively use tools and software.
• Learn basic low voltage electrical systems and operate equipment.
• Operate machinery such as skid steers, mini-excavators, backhoes, compressors, generators.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and maintain tools/equipment.
