Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy is seeking a Site Solar Technician II for the Fort Stockton project site. The role requires overnight travel and involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining solar farm systems across the US, with a focus on safety, quality, and customer service.

You will travel by personal or company vehicle, work with electrical and mechanical components, and support field initiatives while providing daily reports and adhering to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years working in the renewable energy industry or relevant experience from another industry.
• Great safety track record.
• Knowledge of all major solar and energy storage products.
• Training on top tier inverters a plus.
• Must be highly organized and punctual.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and pass background check and physical.
• Must be able to work through issues and troubleshoot safely.
• Accommodate frequent travel.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and oversee issues at solar farms across the US.
• Provide exceptional customer experience and maintain professional demeanor.
• Travel using own vehicle or company vehicle and operate on-site equipment.
• Prepare daily reports and participate in staff meetings.
• Maintain tools/equipment and follow safety/environmental procedures.
