Job summary

Silicon Ranch is seeking a Solar Maintenance Technician II – Field Operations to perform preventive and corrective maintenance at multiple GA sites (Hazlehurst, Jesup, Vidalia, Waycross, and Douglas). You will inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical components to keep the solar PV facility productive, with safety as a priority.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude and applicable electrical experience, capable of working alone or in a team, lifting up to 50 lbs,

Qualifications

• Intermediate skills with computers and electronic equipment.
• Proficient with MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on PV system, UPS, SCADA, substation, and MV/HV/OHE systems.
• Perform corrective maintenance tasks on critical systems, scheduled and unscheduled.
• Log all work in the CMMS platform.
• Assist with field investigations to support analytics and root-cause reports.
• Provide site access to contractors and assist with other site tasks as needed.
