Job summary

The ideal candidate will read technical manuals and schematics, troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, or engine systems, and communicate progress to the Service Manager. A valid driver’s license is required for field calls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Experience in equipment maintenance, mechanical repair, or related service role.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and repair instructions.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record for field calls.
• Commitment to safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair equipment in the shop and at customer locations.
• Perform preventive maintenance per manufacturer specifications and company procedures.
• Troubleshoot equipment using diagnostic tools, manuals, and schematics.
• Complete work orders documenting labor, parts used, findings, and repairs performed.
• Communicate equipment conditions, repair needs, and job progress to the Service Manager.
• Assist customers with equipment operation and maintenance questions.
