Job summary

PSS Cross Country in Perryton, TX is seeking a Service Technician to inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair equipment in the shop and at customer locations.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot with diagnostic tools and manuals, and ensure accurate service documentation while prioritizing safety and customer service.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Inspect equipment, identify mechanical or electrical issues, and complete necessary repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance according to manufacturer specifications and company procedures.
• Troubleshoot equipment using diagnostic tools, technical manuals, and schematics.
• Repair or replace worn or damaged components and test equipment before returning to service.
• Complete work orders documenting labor, parts used, findings, and repairs performed.
• Communicate equipment conditions, repair needs, and job progress to the Service Manager.
• Assist customers with equipment operation and maintenance questions.
• Follow company safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and properly care for tools and equipment.
• Assist with equipment preparation, deliveries, and field service calls as assigned.
• Coordinate with service, parts, and operations teams to complete work efficiently.
