Job summary

Ring Power Corporation seeks a Service Field Tech I to diagnose and repair customer or company equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. You will disassemble/assemble components, maintain tools, and document work using the LMS and dealer software.

Training and mentoring others will be part of the role. The position requires 5–6 years of experience, a High School diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Education and Experience: High School diploma or GED.
• Experience: 5-6 years.
• Required / Credentials: Valid Driver's License.
• Successfully completed all required training to be designated Service Field Tech I.
• Able to comprehend written material and communicate orally and in writing with employees and customers.
• Not Required but Highly Desired Criteria: Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant Dealer software.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform designated repairs on customer or company owned equipment including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs.
• Disassemble and assemble components to manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain necessary tools required for job performance.
• Document repairs and repairs times using appropriate software.
• Monitor job expenses versus repair estimates and alert supervisor of cost overruns.
• Mentor others in department and potentially assume Supervisor position temporarily.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
