Job summary

Crown Power & Equipment is seeking a skilled service technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain agricultural and construction equipment. You will inspect, diagnose, repair, tune engines, and service hydraulic/electrical systems, using hand tools and welding as needed.

You will work closely with the Service Manager, maintain detailed service records, and ensure safe operation. Prior experience with equipment maintenance is preferred, and a valid driver's license may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to read manuals, schematics and blueprints.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Safety-minded with strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and identify issues with agricultural and construction equipment.
• Perform repairs by disassembling defective machinery and replacing worn parts.
• Conduct routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns and ensure proper functionality.
• Communicate equipment issues and resolutions to supervisor and customers.
• Maintain shop, inventory, tools and equipment.
