Job summary

Savage Services is seeking an experienced SH&E leader to oversee safety, health, and environmental programs for the Lake Charles operation. The role requires field engagement, strong training skills, and cross-functional leadership with emphasis on regulatory compliance and incident investigations.

You will mentor teams, drive continuous safety improvements, and coordinate with customers, regulators, and leadership to strengthen our safety culture and performance.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to analyze situations and data to drive decisions.
• Excellent written communication for reports and training materials.
• Willingness to work in the field with industrial teams and drivers.
• TWIC card or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all SH&E programs for the Lake Charles operation.
• Administer FMCSA and DOT safety management requirements.
• Oversee safety standards for heavy equipment and operations.
• Conduct compliance audits and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs including LOTO.
• Mentor workforce and develop site-specific procedures.
• Spend 50–60% of time in the field with the team.
• Collaborate with customer, regulators, and Savage leadership on safety initiatives.
• Support emergency planning and incident investigations as needed.
