Job summary

MIRATECH is seeking a Field Services Trainer to deliver technical, operational, and safety training across our field teams. You will support onboarding, qualification, certification, and ongoing development, combining classroom, hands-on field instruction, and mentoring to ensure technicians perform safely and to company standards.

Travel is extensive to client sites and field locations. You will develop training materials, verify competencies, coach technicians, and promote standardized work

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Field Service, commissioning, troubleshooting, or technical support experience.
• Demonstrated ability to independently deliver technical training programs.
• Recognized technical resource within assigned specialty areas.
• Prior experience mentoring technicians and supporting qualification activities.
• Ability to develop or improve training materials and practical exercises.
• Proven troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to coach and mentor technicians under guidance.
• Demonstrated proficiency in assigned systems and work processes.
• Able to travel extensively.
• Experience supporting customer-facing technical discussions that require knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, controls platforms, service procedures, and field documentation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led classroom, virtual, and field-based training programs.
• Provide onboarding training for newly hired Field Service personnel.
• Deliver technical instruction related to electrical, instrumentation, and control systems; commissioning and preventive maintenance.
• Conduct practical demonstrations and hands-on exercises; reinforce tool and software usage.
• Coach technicians during field assignments and provide structured feedback.
• Assist qualification and certification progression; mentor developing technicians.
