Position Overview:

Term: 1+ year

Location: Remote (100% travel)

Pay: $30.00 - $37.00; commensurate with experience

Hours: Standard business hours

Our Field Services Team delivers value by building long-term customer relationships and providing solutions through effective communication. As a first-line response, you will organize, triage, and resolve customer issues, often proactively. Formal training will equip you to meet customer needs effectively.

We emphasize rapid learning through virtual and hands-on classroom training, fostering a diverse, growth-oriented community supported by mentors and coaches across territories.

Responsibilities of the Field Services Technician:

• Add or remove non-powered equipment hardware
• Handle wiring and connections on non-operational equipment and switchboard cables
• Lead verification and continuity testing
• Analyze job specifications and drawings
• Understand the Scope of Work (SOW) and draft comprehensive Job Change Order (JCO) summaries
• Assign tasks to Skill Level 1 and 2 Installers
• Prepare Method of Procedure (MOP)
• Write Job Information Memorandums (JIMs)
• Resolve issues related to job specifications or drawings
• Update office record drawings
• Conduct in-process and final quality inspections

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent
• Authorized to work in the US
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and RealID/Passport for travel
• At least 25 years old
• Proficiency with PC, basic electronic skills, and familiarity with hardware and operating systems
• Ability to perform essential functions with or without accommodations
• Willingness to travel extensively by car
• Flexibility for rotating and weekend shifts
• Ability to lift tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 75 lbs. alone, and up to 150 lbs. with assistance
• Physical ability to perform bending, squatting, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, and manual tasks
• Willingness to obtain various certifications
• Basic set of hand tools (screwdrivers, crimpers, pliers, etc.)
