Job summary

Florida Detroit Diesel Allison seeks an Outside Service Sales Representative to sell parts and services across trucking, fleet, marine, construction, mining, oil and gas well services, emergency services and industrial machinery in an assigned territory.

You will generate new accounts, service existing ones, forecast sales, coordinate with engineering and purchasing, and negotiate contracts to achieve growth and profitability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 3–7 years related experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Oracle experience preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate new customer accounts and service existing accounts.
• Achieve sales goals and forecasts as established by the department and organization.
• Interface with engineering, manufacturing, and purchasing to oversee project development and timely delivery.
• Review project costs and negotiate proposals and sales/service contracts.
• Plan and organize sales strategy and develop industry relationships.
