Job summary

Florida Detroit Diesel Allison is seeking an Outside Service Sales Representative to drive sales of parts and services across trucking, fleet, marine, construction, mining, oil & gas, and industrial sectors in an assigned territory.

The role requires generating new accounts, maintaining existing ones, and meeting forecasts while coordinating with engineering, manufacturing and purchasing to ensure on-time delivery and project success.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED with 3–7 years of related experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook); Oracle experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generate new customer accounts and service existing ones; analyze customer needs and interests.
• Achieve sales goals and forecasts set by the department.
• Negotiate proposals and sales and service contracts with customers.
• Interface with engineering, manufacturing, production and purchasing to oversee project development and ensure delivery.
• Plan and organize sales strategy and monitor project costs, materials, and delivery schedules.
