Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking a Field Service Manager to direct and optimize all field service activities onsite with travel to customer locations. You will oversee staff, schedules, and cost reporting while ensuring high quality service and adherence to company policies.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and six years of installation experience, plus at least one year in a supervisory capacity and specialized Truss Technician Training certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and six years of installation or related experience, plus one year of lead or supervisory experience.
• Requires Truss Technician Training Levels I and II certifications.
• Demonstrated knowledge of company products, pricing formulas, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Directs field service activities and staff to resolve product issues at customer sites.
• Manage schedules for replacement and repair and ensure timely execution.
• Develop monthly productivity and costing reports for management.
• Negotiate contracts with third party repair services and monitor quality.
• Oversee budget achievement and staff performance reviews.
• Ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
• Coordinate travel to customer sites.
