Job summary

SEEK Professionals in the United States is seeking a field service installation technician to support and install customer equipment both onsite and remotely. You will install and start up equipment, troubleshoot issues, and train customer personnel.

Candidates with 1–3 years in field service or electro-mechanical maintenance are preferred; training is available. Expect travel 60–80% across North America, with frequent weekends at home.

This position is responsible for the installation and technical support of customer equipment, both onsite and remotely via phone or electronic communication.

Key responsibilities include performing or overseeing the mechanical installation of equipment at customer locations, conducting initial start-up procedures, and providing training to customer personnel. The role also involves troubleshooting equipment issues, delivering technical guidance, and supporting software-related inquiries.

This position operates in a fast-paced environment and requires a self-motivated, adaptable individual who is ready to take on new challenges. Travel to customer sites throughout North America is required, with travel commitments ranging from 60-80% for installation projects. The company understands the importance of work-life balance and has a strong track record- barring rare exceptions - of ensuring field service team members are home each weekend.
