Job summary

AVT is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide on-site and remote support for customers across the United States. You will install, maintain, and repair AVT's advanced industrial camera systems at customer sites, primarily in printing environments, while collaborating with senior engineers to troubleshoot issues and ensure customer satisfaction.

You will travel frequently across the U.S., using hands-on skills in electronics, mechanics, and computer systems, and you will maintain accurate

What You'll Do

• Provide on-site and remote support to customers across the U.S.
• Help install, maintain, and repair AVT's advanced industrial camera systems at customer sites (mainly printing companies).
• Collaborate with senior engineers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Assist in scheduling service visits, answering technical questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Support remote diagnostics for system and application issues.
• Maintain accurate service records and follow-up actions in our system.
• Follow safety and quality procedures during all fieldwork.

Who You Are

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or similar fields.
• Technically curious and eager to learn hands-on skills in electronics, mechanics, and computer systems.
• Comfortable using tools and working with industrial equipment.
• Able to communicate clearly with customers and teammates.
• Willing to travel frequently across the U.S.
• Positive, reliable, and eager to grow in a technical support career.
