Position Overview

We're seeking a skilled AV Services Technician to support a key client based in Philadelphia, PA. This is an excellent opportunity for an AV professional who excels in field service work and enjoys solving real‑time challenges in dynamic environments. As an AV Services Technician, you'll work closely with AVT's engineering and support teams to provide technical support, maintenance, installation assistance and troubleshooting for a wide range of AV systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on‑site support for AV systems, including video conferencing, control systems, DSPs, displays, and streaming equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot AV issues for clients, with a primary focus on Philadelphia‑based installations.
• Monitor and support live events and meetings to ensure high‑quality AV performance.
• Assist with system configuration, testing, and end‑user training.
• Document service calls, updates, and solutions in internal ticketing systems.
• Coordinate with AVT's home office and field teams in Kimberton, PA, as needed.

Requirements

• Hands‑on AV experience, including field service or technical support.
• Strong understanding of AV systems including AMX, Extron, Clear‑One, etc.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in the field.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Willingness to travel to client sites in the Philadelphia area on a regular basis.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

• AVIXA CTS certification or relevant technical training.
• Familiarity with IT/networking concepts relevant to AV installations.
