Theater Outsource in Los Angeles is seeking a Field Service Engineer to commission, program, test, and service lighting-control systems across Southern California.
The ideal candidate will troubleshoot hardware, software, wiring, and networking, read electrical drawings, coordinate with customers and contractors, and travel to project sites. An engineering degree is not required; hands-on experience matters most.
FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER – LIGHTING CONTROL SYSTEMS
Los Angeles / Southern California
Up to $125,000
We are open to candidates from lighting controls, building automation, AV, electrical controls, low-voltage systems, commissioning, or related field-service backgrounds.
Experience with ETC architectural controls is ideal but not required. Experience with Acuity Brands, Crestron, Lutron, Legrand/Wattstopper, Leviton, Pathway, or other control-system manufacturers may also translate well.
The right person will be technically curious, comfortable working independently, strong with customers, and willing to travel to project sites throughout Southern California.
An engineering degree is not required. Hands-on controls, programming, commissioning, or troubleshooting experience matters most.
Compensation is up to $125,000, based on experience.
