Job summary

JDC Power Systems, LLC is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician FSR3 to support customer field operations, troubleshoot, maintain, and service electrical systems, industrial controls, and related equipment at client sites.

You will travel to various sites, perform on-site diagnostics, start-ups, and commissioning, provide customer training, and document service activities with test reports while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years field service experience in power systems or industrial controls.
• Certifications such as NFPA 70E or OSHA 30 are a plus.
• Willingness to travel frequently and possess a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• On-site troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
• Diagnose issues to minimize downtime and ensure system operation.
• Support startups and commissioning to meet customer specs.
• Serve as primary contact for customers during service visits.
• Provide basic training on system operation and maintenance.
• Document service activities and provide test reports.
• Maintain records of time, service work, and inventory.
