Position Overview
The Field Service Dispatcher serves as the primary point of contact for Field Technicians and Property Managers, and is responsible for scheduling and ensuring timely updates on inspections and task completions. This role demands excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a commitment to superior customer service.
Responsibilities
- Maintain reliability and accountability in all tasks, understanding the dependency of team members on your performance.
- Distribute work to field technicians efficiently to fulfill schedules and track the status of assignments to ensure timely and accurate completion.
- Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment, collaborating with management to provide proactive feedback.
- Develop and sustain trusting relationships with the team through effective communication.
- Provide timely updates on actions and events in the field that may impact customers and team members.
- Maintain the scheduling calendar, identify emergencies, and respond swiftly to diverse circumstances.
- Route and monitor field tasks to field technicians to meet customer needs.
- Perform office administrative duties, including managing incoming and outgoing mail, processing bank deposits, and ensuring current fleet vehicle registrations.
- Greet and assist customers visiting the office, creating a welcoming environment and addressing their needs.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills with a strong sense of urgency.
- Highly self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong verbal communication skills for clear and effective interaction.
- Previous experience in dispatching or schedule coordinating is a plus.
- High energy, positive attitude, and comfort in a team environment.
