Job summary

Raymond West is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our service team. You will repair equipment, maintain customer relationships, and uphold company standards while meeting productivity goals. Travel within territories and overtime may be required.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years of breakdown/service experience, and strong communication and mechanical skills. A valid driver’s license and Raymond Level 1 certification readiness are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 3+ years breakdown experience or comparable service experience; or equivalent education/experience.
• Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Proven ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Repair all types of equipment Raymond West sells and services.
• Update training and skills on a continuing basis.
• Train other employees as needed.
• Maintain a profitable billing level.
• Follow all Service Department procedures.
• Communicate with assigned Field Supervisor.
• Complete paperwork neatly and timely.
• Explain options to customers before proceeding with work.
• Maintain tools and perform field service within quoted time frames.
• Travel within assigned territories and be willing to work overtime.
