Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a skilled technician to install, set up, repair and maintain vending, cooling and fountain equipment at customer accounts. The role requires diagnosing problems, using judgment to repair or replace components, and frequent customer contact.

You may lift up to 45 pounds and occasionally move vending machines weighing 800–1200 pounds while working independently. Candidates should hold a valid U.S.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 21 years or older if CDL Required.
• Valid U.S. CDL license with Non-Excepted Interstate Status (if applicable).
• Pass DOT Physical and DOT Road-test (if required).
• Adhere to DOT Regulations.
• Senior technician requires refrigeration certification.
• Must be able to pass refrigeration certification Type I/Type II practices (if applicable).
• Ability to communicate effectively in English if CDL required.

Responsibilities

• Install, set up, repair and ongoing maintenance of vending, cooling and/or fountain equipment at customer accounts.
• Diagnose equipment problems and determine best repair or replacement.
• Work independently and maintain frequent customer contact.
• May require lifting, carrying, pulling and/or moving between 20 and 45 pounds repeatedly over the workday.
• May involve moving vending machines weighing 800-1200 pounds.
