Job summary

Raymond West is seeking a Field Service Technician to service, troubleshoot, and repair material handling equipment at customer locations. This role includes a company vehicle and fuel card, with travel within assigned territories.

Prior mechanical experience is preferred and the candidate must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen. The position offers an hourly pay range of $20.00-$45.00 with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; minimum 3 years breakdown/service experience.
• Must be able to travel and work in the field daily.
• Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of hydraulics/diesel engines.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers.

Responsibilities

• Repair and service equipment Raymon West sells and services.
• Maintain and update training and skills.
• Train other employees as needed.
• Complete paperwork accurately and timely.
• Explain options to customers before proceeding with work.
• Coordinate with Field Supervisor.
• Maintain vehicle and parts inventory.
• Establish positive rapport with customers.
• Follow safety procedures.
