Job summary

Raymond West is seeking a Field Service Technician to repair and service customer equipment and maintain strong customer relations. You will be responsible for communicating options to customers, training others, and maintaining tools and vehicle as part of a dedicated service team.

You will travel within assigned territories, work overtime as needed, and adhere to safety guidelines. A high school diploma or GED and relevant service experience are required.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Strong organizational time management abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and similar software.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operation manuals.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups.
• Willing to work off-hours as needed.
• Ability to perform essential duties safely.

Responsibilities

• Repair all types of equipment that Raymond West sells and services.
• Update training and skills on a continuing basis.
• Train other employees as needed.
• Maintain a profitable billing level.
• Follow all Service Department procedures.
• Communicate with assigned Field Supervisor.
• Complete all paperwork in a timely and neat manner.
• Communicate options to customers before work.
• Ensure necessary tools are available for repair and scheduled service work.
• Maintain a clean and orderly vehicle and work area.
• Keep accurate parts inventory as applicable.
• Pass Raymond Certification and recertification as required.
• Travel daily within assigned territories; company vehicle provided.
• Work overtime as necessary and coordinate with supervisor.
