Job summary

Vertiv Corporation is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform scheduled and remedial service on UPS, PDU and battery systems. You will establish rapport with customers, support products in the Edge market segment, and maintain safety and quality during each assignment.

The role requires on-site work, travel, and the ability to work under supervision or independently after training. A strong focus on first-time fixes and customer satisfaction is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with field service or maintenance in technical environments.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to read technical manuals and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site and phone support to customers per policy.
• Ensure safety guidelines and PPE usage at all times.
• Maintain inventory and complete service reports promptly.
• Strive for first-time fix and accurate billing/status updates.
• Coordinate with customers, sales and technical support as needed.
• Travel as required and adhere to schedule and safety rules.
