Job summary

ZEISS in Torrington, CT is hiring a Field Service Technician to install, repair, troubleshoot, service and calibrate precision measuring instruments at customer sites.

You will travel extensively within your region, enjoy a company vehicle, travel expenses covered, and a strong benefits package while growing your technical skills and advancing your career. A high school diploma or technical training and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; technical education preferred.
Experience with hand tools and basic electrical test equipment.
Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and travel 50+ hours per week.
Valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, troubleshoot, service and calibrate advanced measuring instruments at customer sites.
Document service work and maintain accurate service records.
Work independently while traveling to customer sites within the region.
Support field operations in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
